In the dead of night, two girls venture to a mage's house with problems no one else can solve.

Linnaea Norwalk, mycologist’s daughter, raised her face to the light. At the corner of her eye, a seam had opened, exposing a tangle of silvery fiber and a tiny third eye gleaming.

This is a short, standalone, non-interactive story about growing up and growing apart.
